l grew up with a single mother my father died when I was a toddler. My mother didn’t have money to buy me pads, So I used to worry whenever my periods started. Thanks to Nile girls now I’m able to make reusable sanitary pads and also earn a living from the skills they gave us.
I also learnt to make liquid soap which I use to do my laundry this has helped my mother save money at home. Also when my sisters dropped out of school I was able to show them how to make reusable sanitary pads and liquid soap which has helped them live sustainably
