Founder & Executive Director
Peace Monica Pimer is the Founder and Executive Director of the Nile Girls Forum, a non-profit organisation focused on advancing gender equality through education, peace-building, sexual and reproductive health, climate action, and economic empowerment for young women and girls in Uganda. A passionate advocate for youth, she has spearheaded initiatives that improve the lives of young women in education and health.
In addition to her leadership at the Nile Girls Forum, She is a “How Women Lead Fellow”, Salzburg Global Fellow. She served as the Partnership Lead for the Mastercard Foundation Uganda Alumni Committee. She is a 2023 USAID/GUIDE Fellow and a 2022 Academy of Women Entrepreneurs Fellow.
Peace also serves on the Board of the African Youth and Adolescent Network Uganda and was named among Uganda’s 40 Under 40 Inspirational Leaders. She is the author of a policy insight on “Meaningful Engagement with the Global South” presented at the UN Summit of the Future 2024 in New York,USA in partnership with NORRAG.
